How do I make a shared link (to Facebook) called [mp3 name] instead of "BOX"?
When I post links to .mp3 files in Facebook, they all show up in Newsfeed as,
"APP.BOX.COM
Box"
How can I make them show up in Facebook with the name of the .mp3 file (the name of the tune itself)? Many friends have no clue what the Box link is, or does, and may be reluctant to click on it.
It would be better, for example, if the link appeared like this:
APP.BOX.COM
The Star Spangled Banner

Hi Bob,
Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
It sounds like you might be pertaining to a "Direct Link".
A Direct link is a web address (URL) that links directly to a file without using Box Preview. This is different from a regular shared link, which brings users to the Box Preview screen for the shared file. Direct links end with the file's extension type. Therefore, if you are linking to a Microsoft Word document, a direct link ends with *.doc.
To access the direct link of a file, you must enable the shared link of the file and then click the "Link settings". Also, please be advised that Direct links is a premium feature and is currently not available on free personal users.
For more information about Direct links please take a look at this article: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697554-Configuring-Individual-Shared-Link-Settings
