Box encountered an issue

I had some issues with Box not syncing my files, so I tried updating the application and restarting my computer. With that not working, I had to uninstall the app then re-install, but now I'm getting a message saying "Box encountered an issue" and that i need to manually reset. The process of manually resetting isn't user-friendly at all. Can someone please help with this issue?

  I understand that you are getting an error that Box Drive encountered an issue and to resolve this you will need to manually reset Box Drive following the steps in this article:

  And how do I open a terminal window?
