    To confirm, did you receive an email notification on the folder you've been added to?

    Do you encounter an error message when you try accessing the folder from the email invite they sent you? Can you share a screenshot so we can take a look?

    Yes, I received an email notification on the folder that I have been added by the support of the client, and I received the following error.

    Hi Rosa, 

    This error message usually happens if the email address linked to your Box account is different from the email address that collaboration invite was sent to.

    Example:

    1. A user's box account email address is: janedoe@domain.com.
    2. Their email inbox is signed into jdoe@domain.com.
    3. They are invited to a folder using the email janedoe@domain.com and accept the invite from their inbox.
    4. They will receive the error below in their Box account

    To rectify this, please follow the steps below:

    1. Confirm which email the invitation is being sent to.

    2. Check which email address your Box account is associated to. To do so, go to your Box account, click on your name on the top right hand side, then navigate to "Account Settings."

    3. Make sure the email address the invitation was sent to matches the email in your account settings.

    4. If they do not match, have the invitation sent to the email associated with the Box account.

    I have the same problem. Received the invitation to the same adress I am logged in with and still cant access the folder. The Client told me that I still appear invited but it does not show that I accepted the invite. Whats the problem here? Had this with two clients already today. When I asked to add a different account, it worked.
