We've introduced a new application creation flow for developers. In this update, developers are asked to provide additional details, including the purpose of the application and the app category, for every new custom application.
Developers can view these additional details or edit them within the Configuration tab of the Developer Console.
Updating App Details fields such as purpose, category, or who is building an app won’t impact impact the configuration of existing apps or how the app works.
