At Boxworks 2023 we announced the upcoming availability of Box AI for Slack, which will bring Box AI directly into Slack channels. In preparation for the general availability of these capabilities in the Box for Slack integration, all users will start to see the following two new shortcuts in Slack (pictured below) beginning April 11th:

Ask Box AI
-
Remove Box AI Response
If a user tries to use these shortcuts prior to Box AI for Slack being generally available, they will receive the following message “Box AI for Slack is not available at your enterprise.”
Please note that once Box AI for Slack becomes generally available (currently planned for Q2 FY25), no Box AI features will be available to Box for Slack users without being directly enabled by a Box Admin. If a user without access to Box AI for Slack prompts the shortcut they will receive a message based on the availability of the feature at their enterprise.
