Joint Box and Slack customers using Box for Slack get the ease of sharing and communication provided by Slack, with the content management and security features of Box. We’re dedicated to continuously working to provide a more seamless experience when working with Box content in Slack, that’s why we’re happy to be bringing Admin Delegated Authorization feature to Admins deploying Box for Slack at their enterprise.
Previously, Box for Slack users had to authorize the app to access their Box account every time they logged in. With this new release, admins can navigate to the Admin Console and find authorize all, or select, Slack Workspaces / Organizations - making deployment of the integration faster and easier.
With the feature enabled, users will still need to authorize the Box app in Slack to access their Slack account, but the Box account access authorization will not be required.
