Even if your organization uses SSO to manage your Box account credentials, if you use external applications with Box that are not supported by SSO, you will need to create a password to access those applications. Also, if your organization Admin disables SSO, you would use this password with yur username to access Box.
- Click your user icon in the upper-right, then go to Account Settings > Account.
- In the Authentication section, select Create Password.
- Enter your password twice. Your organization Admin may have minimum password requirements defined that your password must meet.
- Select Save.
