We have released an update to the Box web experience where newly uploaded images in Box Notes will be stored using a new storage system. This new system no longer creates an additional “Box Notes Images” folder in the same folder where the Box Note is stored. This important update ensures that image permissions automatically follow your Note's permissions, even if the Note is moved to a different folder. With this update, your images will remain visible to everyone who has access to your Note.
Please keep in mind this change will apply only to newly uploaded images. Previously uploaded images will continue to use the old storage method (in the "Box Notes Images" sub-folder) to preserve any custom permission settings users may have applied.
