We've released Box AI actions for Agentforce so you can do more advanced actions, like data extraction, on Box content across Salesforce, Slack and Agentforce.
In March, we released a series of pre-built and customizable Agentforce actions for Box content, including file sharing, Box Sign e-signature initiation with Salesforce data auto-population, document generation from templates using Salesforce object data, and object-tied folder structure creation.
This release integrates Box AI enabling customers to build agents that leverage these actions to automate tasks within their workflows. For example, Agentforce can use Box AI for intelligent data extraction from documents within Box, such as:
- Verifying the recency of a W2 form
- Extracting specific component identifiers (e.g., make and model number) from technical documentation, including images
- Providing enhanced interaction refinement and capability extension; for instance, users can prompt Agentforce to create a "tax docs" folder and automate the relocation of relevant income statements into that Box folder.
These enhancements are focused on helping customers further automate and optimize workflows and improve operational efficiency with Box AI in Agentforce.
