We will soon release an integration between Box Sign and Workday, bringing secure and seamless e-signature capabilities directly into the Workday ecosystem. By integrating Box Sign's e-signature functionality within Workday’s human capital management workflows, organizations can now manage the entire document lifecycle, from initial distribution to final signing and automated storage, without ever leaving their primary work environment, significantly accelerating hiring, onboarding, and compliance processes while maintaining the rigorous security standards that both Box and Workday are known for.
Many HR teams face slow, error-prone signature workflows, fragmented document storage, and limited visibility into signing status on critical HR processes like onboarding and recruiting. Common pain points include manual distribution of documents, difficulty scaling signature requests across large populations, lack of centralized signing logs for audits, and the administrative overhead of reconciling signed copies across systems.
Box Sign for Workday allows joint users to initiate signature requests directly from Workday via the Distribute Documents task. Users can also address bulk sending use cases, like distributing policy update acknowledgement forms, annual benefits enrollment, and more, that require the need to send a single document to multiple recipients at one time. Recipients receive a Workday task that launches Box Sign in a new browser tab to review and sign, with signing status reflected in real time back in Workday. The signed copy is attached to the recipient’s Personal Documents in Workday for immediate reference while Box stores the master copy, full signing logs, and version history. This approach preserves Workday’s task-driven experience and leverages Box as the secure content layer throughout the process for seamless recordkeeping and auditability.
Additionally, joint customers on Enterprise Plus and Enterprise Advanced plans will be able to send unlimited signature requests at no additional cost. Box Sign for Workday is available through the Workday Marketplace and requires Workday Core HCM.
