We’re excited to share two important updates coming soon to Box Forms.
1) Box Forms Embedding in iFrame (New Feature)
We’re adding iFrame embedding for Box Forms enabling users to embed Box Forms wherever iFrames are supported. This enables seamless integration into websites, portals, and internal tools.
2) Unique Form Naming
We’re ensuring Forms have unique names to make it easier for form creators to manage and deploy their forms. Form Names will now be unique, meaning each form must have a distinct name. Form Titles can still be duplicated, allowing flexibility in how forms are displayed (i.e. its possible for user to have multiple forms titled "NDA".)
What does this mean for existing forms?
If a form already has a duplicate Form Name, it can no longer be edited and saved until it’s renamed.
Users will be prompted to rename duplicate Form Names. No forms will be deactivated, and all existing forms will remain active in their current state unless updated.
