Box integrates with GovSlack, a digital HQ to support secure government work and is featured in their directory of curated applications. That way, Box and GovSlack users can easily enable our integration that supports public sector security requirements.
The Box for GovSlack integration is here and builds on a rich set of end-user features that makes communicating and collaborating with teams, partner agencies, and even citizens easy and efficient. Now our joint public sector customers will be able to streamline collaboration by granting access to Box documents directly from GovSlack, while GovSlack users can work more productively by using Box slash commands to quickly find or view recent files. Additionally, users have access to Box’s file activity stream to understand how Box files are being shared in GovSlack.
The Box for GovSlack integration will enable government customers to use Box as the single file storage system in the GovSlack environment. Box’s native enterprise-grade security, compliance, and governance features are applied even as Box content is accessed across various applications and devices. Box is already FedRAMP Moderate (meeting 325 security and risk management controls), newly StateRAMP Authorized, has an existing Department of Defense Impact Level 4 Authorization for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), and can be used to help meet ITAR requirements—just to name a few.
Using Box and GovSlack together, joint customers will be able to increase security, minimize content sprawl, and improve productivity.
