We are continuing to enhance our Box for Slack integration to help users easily find, access and share their Box files in Slack. As such, we are expanding our authorizations scopes soon to include both:
This update will allow the Box for Slack app to automatically create a Slack channel bookmark to its Box folder in the future.
Note: This change does not require any admin or end user set-up steps. Once completed, users authorizing the Box for Slack app to access their Slack account will be presented with the new list of scopes in the consent screen.
