i am trying to verify, however there is no smartphone available for text messaging here at work, how can the verification code still be sent?

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!
If you wish to setup 2- Factor Authentication for your Box account, you will need a mobile device in order to do so.
You will have the option to use your phone number to get the SMS code to setup 2FA or download an Authenticator app to get an OTP or one-time passwords, which are unique random passwords generated on demand by authenticator app to complete the setup.

Dear France,
unfortunately we don't have the possibility to use a cell phone at work, so the SMS text message is out of the question. The APP has to be loaded onto a cell phone via barcode, which is also not possible.
Please tell me another possibility,
