Box Drive not syncing
AnsweredMy Box Drive app on a Mac is not syncing, nor has it been for months. I have tried going in and syncing the folders on the web browser, and it says they are sync'd. I have tried quiting the app and restarting it - no luck. I have rebooted the Mac many times - again to luck. Any ideas on how to solve this.

Can you check if Box Drive is running on your device, there should be a Box icon on your system tray and it should be in blue color You activity monitor should also show Box is running.
If you've confirmed Box Drive is running, can you check if there are problem items/ error notification on your Menu Bar for Box Drive app?
Please refer to this article on error notifications in Drive to check for any issues with updating content in your Drive folder. If you are unsure about how to resolve any of these issues please take a screenshot of the items in the Problem Items window so the community can take a look.

I have checked that Box is running - there is a black Box icon in the Mac equivalent of the System Tray rather than a grey one (not connected). I have gone in and checked to see if there are any problems/errors as you suggested, and there are none listed. It says "No problem items" in grey. I have checked the file naming to make sure there are no issues and there are none.
In my original description I may have been misleading saying there were no updates on Box Drive. I can load a new file into the Box Drive and it uploads, it is the download of the icon for the file to say it is available in the cloud that is the problem - so anything I've generated on another computer or others have generated over the last few months are not showing up in Box Drive on my Mac.
Any other suggestions?

If you noticed that some updates don't reflect in Box Drive in your Finder, can you use the Refresh Folders On-demand feature to sync those and let us know how it goes?
