    Welcome to the Box Community!

    I understand that you need help in changing the Primary email address associated to your Box account, I'm happy to help!

    You would need to add your new preferred email as secondary email of your Box and then you will have the option to make it Primary once its linked to your account. Here's how:

    1. Go to the user's profile (Initials)
    2. Click Account Settings
    2. Under Account tab, scroll down to "Login and Email Addresses" section
    3. Click Add or Link Personal Email 

    • Enter your new email address (remember the email must not be associated to a Box account) and click the Save button.
    • An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.
    • Once your secondary email is linked and verified, you will have the option to "Make it Primary". To make a secondary address your primary address, just click the Make Primary button.
    • If the option "Make it Primary" did not appear, you just need to refresh the page for it to appear. 

    4. Once done you can remove your previous email by clicking the "Remove" option on the side of it.

    Unfortunately, I need for the new address to be my new Box email address that would become the admin.
