    Hi Karthikeswari,

    Welcome to the Box Community!

Have you checked out this support article on Using Box Drive in Multi-User Environments?

    Terminal Services:

Box Drive version 2.16 and later support Remote Desktop Services (RDS)/Terminal Services in the most recent 2 versions of Windows Server OS.

Certain Box Drive features are not supported on Terminal Services, however.  These are:

    • Custom mount location - Box Drive has a technical limitation such that you can mount the location only once in a machine. Since multiple people are logged into the server, they cannot share the common location.  Only the first person to log in can use the location.
    • Autoupdate - Autoupdate is not supported.  In a server environment, anyone could be logged in and accessing Box Drive at any time.  You cannot install Box Drive unless there is no active session. As a result, we require the admin only to update Drive when no one else is logged in.

Thanks for your post and participation in the forum!

    Hello!

This topic is very interesting for me, too.

In the referenced support article is written about Custom mount location: "Box Drive has a technical limitation such that you can mount the location only once in a machine. Since multiple people are logged into the server, they cannot share the common location.  Only the first person to log in can use the location."

What does this mean, what is the consequence of it? In an multi user/RDP scenario we have simultaneously multiple users on the same machine (windows server 2019). So, is box drive able to handle situation or not? I yes, which limitation the users wil experience?

    Regards, Klaus
