Box sync issues
I am using Box Sync on a mac. Over the last week, I have noticed that some files/folders are marked as unsynced. When I reopen and save them, they show up as "recent" in the Box Online version but the local folders are still marked as unsynced. Support?

Hi there,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Can you check in Box.com if the parent folder is "Partially Synced" or if it says "Item is Synced"?
When a parent folder is partially synced (hovering over folder icon displays the This item is partially synced status), new subfolders or files created within this parent folder will not be marked for Sync automatically. To fully sync a partially synced folder, you must unsync the partially synced folder, then sync it again.

Hi, While I don't see the "partially synced" info when I hover over the folder in box.com, I do see that all the relevant folders say they were synced today. In Box.com, all of the relevant folders have blue checkmarks beside them. In the local drive, they have the orange symbol that indicates they weren't synced. Also note that none of these are new folders that have been syncing successfully at least since January. Of the files, one is several years old (synced successfully the whole time and one is a week old)

Hi there,
If you see there are red overlays on your files in Box Sync folder, that means those are problem items not syncing to Box.
Box Sync provides detailed user notifications if a file cannot be synced. To see the list of current problem files, go to the Box Sync icon in your system tray or menu bar and select the "Error Syncing File" option.
Check out this article to learn more on how to troubleshoot and resolve those problem items: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360043697594-Box-Sync-Troubleshooting-Basics
