macOS 11 Big Sur Box installation
Hi there,
issue: box kernel extension activation fails due to unknown extension conflict.
Configuration:
MacOS 11.3.1 (all updates as of 24 May 2021)
Description:
After installing Box and opening System Preferences => Security & Privacy => General => "Allow" button. The window shows checkboxes next to "Box" and on the next row a checkbox with no name.
Every time we check the box checkbox and restart it still does not load and the extension is not added. It seems like the extension without a name is blocking us from adding the box extension.
Troubleshooting:
Reinstalled MacOS.
Uninstalled box (using app cleaner)
Re-installed box.
Various maintenance and cache cleaning.
We suspect the issue is not with Box in itself, but does anyone here have knowledge on how to isolate/fix/locate the extension causing us not to be able to add the box extension?
We would love to not have to completely uninstall and install the workstation of this one employee in order to get box implemented....

Hi there,
Welcome to the Box Community!
I wanted to check if you are still encountering the same issue with the Box Drive's system extensions in your Mac?
I've seen users that were able to resolve this by uninstalling Box Drive > reboot computer > then reinstall.
If you have already tried this and the issue persists, I suggest submitting a ticket with our Support team so they can investigate and help troubleshoot the issue.
You may reach out to our support team by clicking on the “Contact Support” link just above this page.
Best,
