File shared with me through an invite won't appear in my Box

    Welcome to the Box Community!

    Can you confirm if the email address where you received the invitation is the same email address linked to your Box account?

    I usually see this message if the email invited is different from what is linked the Box account of a user.

    Thank you for replying to my post. I have two accounts but only need one. I don't know how to delete the second account. When I received the invite, I already had an account. The invite opened a screen that said "not a member of Mayer Brown". When I clicked the link, it was to create an account, not the sign-in screen. That is the account I wish to delete.

    I have the same issue--getting the same error message. The email used for the invitation is the same as the Box account I've had. The file that was invited to does not appear in my account either. Need help ASAP, but no way of getting actual person to help troubleshoot. :/
