Giving other iOS apps access to Box files
I would dearly love to use Taio with files I store in Box. Inexplicably, Taio can open files from the Box folder, but only as read only. It is unable to write the changes back so the sync can take place, and instead is forced to make a local copy.
Given that the Box folder appears as a location within Files just fine, this seems to be a gross limitation. It's seems very odd that Box files appear like other files on the device, but have this partial and significant limitation.
See the attached screenshot for how the issue becomes apparent in Taio. Taio are confident that there's nothing they can do about it - it has to be fixed by Box. Can it be fixed?

Alas, not very well. After the usual run around checking irrelevant or redundant things, they concluded that “since you are using a third-party application… we are unable to assist”. It’s hard to think of a use case for Box that doesn’t involve a third-party application, so I’m pretty disappointed.
On another forum it was suggested that moving to iCloud is the answer. I’m really trying to avoid that, but appear to have reached an impasse, as trivial as it seems.
