Box updates failed, logs are sent, and app recommended I open a support ticket

When opening computer today Box had an error , suggested I send logs, I did. The message returned was to open a support ticket.
Linked to this - or not - I am unable to set expiration dates for shared links for a few months. I set the shared link, chose the date in the far future (years from now) then the next day the link is expired.
Please help.
