Box censoring images?

For the last few years possibly 5, I have not been able to download any images without having to FIRST rename the image. I have complained about this numerous times on social media to no concern or remedy from box. I don't understand why I get the message cannot upload this file type after being able to do it for YEARS! All of my files are like this!!!!

  Welcome to Box Community and glad to help! 

  I tried to replicate your folder path and your file's name, uploaded it successfully through https://app.box.com/login. 

  Could you do the same? Meanwhile, if you have trouble uploading your files on Box, please run these steps.
