Is box a scam? Our account just got deactivated
CompletedHad to make additional account just to write this topic since our account got deactivated for no reason.
Before purchasing the services we contacted the sales team if box is going to meet our expectations, we told them we are have around 300tb worth of data to migrate from google to box. Sales team ensured us there is no limitations and we'll be able to migrate just fine (still have a recording of Mowmita Chowdhury from box assuring us about it).
On the same day we purchased business plus plan and started migrating.
I migrated my portion pretty fast (around 130tb) since I had better connection than my employer. Since then I made frequent updates on the data.
My employer did not finish moving his data yet.
Today, without any further information, our account was disabled and support is not answering to our emails.
We as company feel scammed. At this point we were using and paid for 3 months of usage. My employer lost his money and time and I lost ~6 months worth of work for no reason.
I hope this thread will gain some traction and box will correct their mistake.
If not, we expect refund for full time of our box usage, which is 3 months.
