Adobe Bridge, Box Drive, Apple M1 Chips
AnsweredAny movement on the Adobe Bridge - Box Drive compatibility issue? Half of my team work on MacBook Pros with the M1 chip and we are heavily dependent upon using Bridge with Box Sync for creating contact sheets or finding our image assets. I know Sync isn't supported on the M1 chip but without Bridge finding the Box Drive files, we are at a precarious standstill. I don't want to have to move away from Box but if we can't resolve the issue, that might be our only alternative.
Has anyone found a suitable workaround? thanks in advance

Hi Karen,
Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!
As of this writing, Adobe Bridge remains an incompatible software on Box Drive.
As an alternate workaround, you can move the content the user needs to open with Adobe Bridge to the local machine and open it that way. Once all changes have been made the user can save locally then re-upload to Box Drive.
Meanwhile, for any product feature request or suggestions, we recommend you post your idea on pulse.box.com for more visibility. Our product team reviews all submissions and will consider whether to include feedback in their product roadmap.
Thanks for posting!

This is an absolutely insane suggested solution. The point of Drive is to be able to have files on your computer. You had a great solution with Box Sync and now your recommendation is to upload and download files every time you want to organize them? Unbelievable. This forum is full of people who have been telling you you for 7 years how much Drive sucks and you just aren't listening.
