Assign Root Folder error & Create Folder error
AnsweredHi, we're running into two issues with our Box for Salesforce that we'd like your assistance with:
①
With the setup for Box, "Assign Root Folder" displays as having an error (triangle mark), but when we click "Assign" it already appears to be connected to a folder, with no option to clear or change it.
We couldn't clear the error by refreshing/redoing the setup so we ignored it, and outside of the issue described in ② everything has been working perfectly. (No issues creating folders/uploading/deleting files.)
Not sure if there's any correlation but just to be safe...
- We'd like to know if this error could mean we will experience issues elsewhere with our Box instance, and preferably of course how to fix it.
②
In one of the custom objects (just the one!) in our Salesforce instance, clicking "Create Folder" generates the "Folder for the request cannot be created/found. Please check Configuration" error.
We have checked other standard/custom objects and it's just this one object generating this error.
We've checked that the naming/folderID in custom settings is correct, and that the user has the correct permissions.
We've also confirmed that this issue is occuring both in the preview Sandbox for Winter'25, as well as a Sandbox still running on Summer'24
(We checked the below article as well.)
https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/19125771076755-Box-for-Salesforce-Folder-for-the-request-cannot-be-created-found-Please-check-Configuration
- We'd like to know what is causing this error, how to fix it/work around it so we can create a folder on the custom object in question.
Additionally, we confirmed that we are running Box for Salesforce/Summer 2024 4.52.0
Apologies for the long message, please let us know if you need any additional information.
