I found the directions to change the files to offline access. However, when i right click, I do not see that option.  Also, I don't generally have the cloud icon showing up on the corners of my files.  Any thoughts? Official Site

To enable offline access and see the cloud icon for your files:

    1. Ensure Syncing is Enabled: Make sure your cloud service (e.g., OneDrive, Google Drive, Dropbox) is running and syncing.

    2. Check File Settings: Right-click the file or folder and look for options like "Always keep on this device" (OneDrive) or "Make available offline" (Google Drive/Dropbox).

    3. Restart the App: If the cloud icons aren’t showing, try restarting the cloud app or rebooting your computer.

    4. Reinstall if Needed: If syncing isn’t working, reinstall the cloud storage app.

    Hi Rose,

Thank you for the comment.  I am pretty sure my Box is syncing even though the cloud icon doesn't show up.  I was able to find "Make availalbe offline" when i right click on a folder but not on a file.  Bizzare.

I will try to log out/ log in the application on the computer.

    Hi Laveille,

Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!

If you have installed Box Drive in your machine, you can access your Box folders offline by making your content available offline

Note: Only folders to which you have download permission can be made available offline. Also, you cannot make individual files available offline.

    Thanks for posting!
