Is the Ruby SDK still supported?
Hi there! I noticed the official Ruby gem listed on the SDKs page doesn't seem to be getting regular maintenance anymore. Is this still the officially supported SDK?
I opened a pull request recently to fix a monkey-patch that was causing some issues in our Rails app, so I'm hoping to have it merged into a future release so we can update..

Hi ,
I'll try to be as transparent as possible with its current state. Most of the Box SDKs started as community projects which were then folded into our official Box Github repo as they could be supported with more official build processes. We recently did this with the Python SDK to bring it up to that level and ensure 100% feature parity with the APIs and are actively trying to improve our SDK / connector offerings.
The Ruby SDK is in a workable community state, but may require you to make direct API calls using the access token for some of the endpoints that are not supported. What I can say is that there are no immediate plans to bring the Ruby SDK in house, but we will do our best to support any challenges that you're running into here. Should there be a change we will ensure that all pull requests / issues are worked on to meet customer demand. It should be safe at this current junction to run off of your adjusted SDK version to unblock you.
Thanks,
Jon
