Change Email Address

If you want to change the email address on your Box account, you need to add more email address then make that new email address as primary then remove the previous email address. Here's how:

Can you please try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and then try to login using this link?

Thank you, France_V for the help. However, the "Add More Emails" option shown here:
is not visible on my computer or on my phone.
I have a free account, thank you, very generous to offer that. The email it was originally linked to is no longer working, don't know why.

Welcome to the Box Community and thanks for your first post in the forum! I'd love to help!
Free users will need to add or "Link Personal Email" to be able to change your primary email address in Box.
To add an email address:
- Click Link Personal Email.
- Enter your new email address and click the Save button.
- An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.
- Once your secondary email is linked and verified, you will have the option to "Make it Primary".To make a secondary address your primary address, just click Make Primary button.

I have the same issue as Taka Taira-Kaplan did. I tried to link another email address and got the
"Oops — that person already has a Box account
Upgrade your account to add a collaborator."message.
So I tried to log in (using google authentication) with that other email address and I got the new user onboarding flow - so it doesn't appear that it had an account after all - but now it does. So I deleted that account new account and now I'm back to the Oops message on the original account.
