Box View API (v1) - unable to create session (500 error)

For the last couple of hours, we've been unable to retrieve a session token to view a document. We're POSTing to https://view-api.box.com/1/sessions (JSON with a document_id which appears to be valid), and with a valid authorization header. Every such request results in a 500 error, with body of {"message": "Internal server error", "type": "error"}

 

Nothing in our code has changed. Wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar?

    same issue here, when calling "https://view-api.box.com/1/sessions" api. This issue is coming since morning.

    But why Box is not even considering this as issue.

    Hi.  I'm getting 'Service Unavailable' when trying to upload a document via the npm https://www.npmjs.com/package/box-view

     

    Can anyone confirm that this is related to the same issue?

    Yes, it is related to the issue but our Engineering team believes they have resolved the issue. No new reports should come in.
