    Hello everyone,

Our engineering team is aware of this issue and are working to address the problems regarding:

    1. Support of Box Drive on devices running macOS 11 (Big Sur)
    2. Support of Box Drive on devices with Apple's New M1 Chip

Our support team has provided a more detailed response in this thread here: https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360051323454-Box-Drive-s-system-extension-failed-to-load?page=1#community_comment_1500000009302

We have also added both of these issues to our Known Product Issues article. We thank you for your continued patience and active community engagement.

Box Drive is running on my installation of public version of MacOS Big Sur.

The only thing that I noticed is that the box app icon in the menu bar is now white? It used to be black!

It is not working on my Big Sur installation - it is giving a "System Extension Failed to Load" error.  I have opened a support case about it.

Purchased 5 M1 Macbooks on Monday and sadly none of them work with Box. I have submitted a ticket to see if there is a resolve. Will keep you all updated.

Box has been working on Big Sur for a couple months now on Intel Macs tho.

I've been running it on my Intel Macbook Air Big Sur, but just got the new Macbook Air with M1 Apple Silicon and not working. I also submitted a ticket to Box... Need to get this fixed! Can't access my files!

Same for me: Mac mini with M1 chip so no go with Box Drive.

Always the same with Box, at every turn Mac takes they can't seem to be able to follow, as if they are surprised. and it is so easy to say 'sorry, not supported'.

To win a race, you have to look further than the first bend.

21 people working at our company with Box, now looking for an alternative.

    Done.

Yikes. Not sure why Box can't get organized and be ready for these changes. Apple gives developers plenty of notice. This is really unacceptable.
