Linking Bookmarks to Shared Files
I'm trying to link one shared document to another shared document via a hyperlink. More specifically though, I'd like to link to a specific section within the document itself. I'm running into an issue because since it's a shared link that is the hyperlink, it's not connecting to the document itself and therefore I cannot access the Bookmarks I've put into that file to link directly to those.
Any suggestions??

Hi Brittany,
Welcome to the Box Community!
Did you make sure to set the correct Shared link access permissions on the shared links? To be able to access a content via Shared links or Bookmark, you must set the correct permission to the file.
Can you share screenshots of your workflow leading to the issue you encounter so we can take a closer look?

Box keeps giving me the alert : URL is invalid anytime I try to Bookmark an Office 365/Sharepoint file despite enabling all levels of access on the document. I didn't have this issue before - checked that previous Sharepoint documents are still accessible. Please advise - thank you!

Hi, Brittany Swim. Were you ever able to figure this out? My links are not linking to the bookmarks I've created either, which seems to be the issue you were previously having. France Below is the workflow I'm using that is not working as expected:
Open Word Document in MS Word via right click > "Open with Microsoft Word"
Select specific "TEXT" (choosing text on page 2 or later in the document for testing purposes), Insert (tab) > Bookmark (button) > check "Hidden bookmarks" box, type desired bookmark name without spaces (e.g. "This_is_a_Bookmark"), click "Add", save and close document
Click chain-icon button (i.e. "Copy Shared Link" button)
Open Excel document in Excel (same method as above)
Create link: right click cell > click "Link" > paste previously copied shared link in the "Address:" box > append "#This_is_a_Bookmark" to end of shared link., save Excel document
Click link
This link brings you to the file, but not to the bookmark location. Please let me know if you have any ideas for troubleshooting. Thanks.
