Is there a"rewind" or go back in history, but at an account level or folder level?

    Unfortunately, we don't currently offer the feature you asked that will allow you to rewind your Box  or go back to a previous state.
     
    If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

    So, you do have version history, I could go back to a working version of a file, but only at a file-level (no folder or account level) is that correct?

    Hi Marie, 

    Yes, that is correct. Box' Version history is only applicable on Files level and there is no equivalent feature for Folders.

    Version history is available to paying accounts and the number of prior file versions you can access corresponds to your Box account type. For more details, please see: Accessing Version history

    Hi, I have the same question.

    A file in a shared folder has mysteriously gone missing. We're not sure why. We clicked on the file link and all it says is " This shared file or folder link has been removed or is unavailable to you. Think it's a mistake? No worries: Just email the owner or get in touch with Box support. We're here to help." 

    The file doesn't look to be in the trash. No one in my team has moved it. So where could it be?

    The Windows sync won't show a previous version even though it's supposed to be sync'd. What options do I have to recover that file?
