We lost access to an important file, which may have occurred during some staff transitions. Can someone help me restore it?

  Have you tried to go into your Box Trash to see if the item is recoverable in there?

  If you need to restore a deleted folder or file that you own, you may restore it from Box Trash and use the search and filter options to narrow down your search.

  If you need more direction on how to locate an important file owned by your organization, you may reach out to your Box admin and request that they run a User Activity report and filter using actions under "File Management" to determine what may have happened to the missing content.
