cannot find shared folder sent by client on free box account

Hi,

One of our client sent us a link of the shared folder for us to get access. But we could not find the shared folder when we did a search.

The client sent us twice the link with the same result.

Could you someone assist us asap?

  Hi there, 

  Welcome to the Box Community!

  Your client most likely sent you a "Shared link" of the folder. Files/ folders shared via a shared link will not show up in your folder tree (unless you have been invited as a collaborator) as these can only be accessed through the Shared link url. 

  If you wish to see a shared folder into your folder tree, your client have to send you an "invitation to collaborate" instead.
