Change email address to a different email not available on site
I am unable to add an additional email address in order to make it the default email address for my Box Account. I have looked in the help files, but it does not correlate to what is actually available on the site. Please advise on how to change my email address on my account.

If you need to change the email address linked to your Box account, you need to first link your new email as a secondary email to your account and then you'll have the option to make it your Primary email.
Here are the steps:
- Login to your Box and then go to your Account settings
- Under Account tab, scroll to "Login and Email Addresses" section
- Click the option Link Personal Email
- Enter your new email address and click the Save button.
- An email verification will be sent to the address you entered. Click the verification link in the email to confirm and add the alternate email to you account.
- To make a secondary address your primary address, click Make Primary button.

Hi, I just followed the directions above to add an email to my account (note that before I did this I closed the existing BOX account associated with this email address). I clicked on the link in the email where I am directed to a BOX page requesting that I establish a NEW password for this account. I enter a new password and click enter at which time I receive the response "box.zendesk.com refused to connect." with a frowning file icon (Chrome default? as this is browser I am using).
Please advise.
