Sync Issue
When I log onto box.com a folder is there but on the app it is not. We have synced and still nothing. I click on the get support tab and it just loops me back to this forum I need help to resolve this issue

Would you mind sharing a screenshot of how the folder looks like in Box.com (webapp) and how your folders in the Box app look like ?
Can you check if there are any problem items in the system tray for the Box application you are using?

Can you check if the folder in Box online has any of the following unsupported character? Some operating systems do not support item names containing some special characters and might be the root cause as to why its not syncing to your Desktop
- Windows OS restrictions:
- < (less than)
- > (greater than)
- : (colon)
- " (double quote)
- / (forward slash)
- \ (backslash)
- | (vertical bar or pipe)
- ? (question mark)
- * (asterisk)
- If Windows does not support certain characters in file names, Box marks them as problem files. See the list of Windows file name restrictions. Windows file name restrictions also shown below:
- Windows does not support folder names that end with a . (period) character.
- Mac OS restrictions:
- Box does not support opening spaces.
- Box does not recognize Mac’s character conversion in file names (for example, Mac changes any occurrence of / to : in file names).
- If Mac does not support certain characters in file names, Box marks them as problem files. Contact Apple support for recommendations on renaming files, folders, or disks.
If the folder on Box.com has an unsupported name, you need to rename the item and the Box desktop app will re-process the download and should start syncing the folder.
