Recently viewed shared files automataically deleted?

I had a shared file that I thought was saved in my recently viewed, but I am no longer able to access it. Could you please let me know how to find it?

  Welcome to the Box Community! 

  I would suggest to directly communicate with the owner of the file to see if the file is still saved on the user's account. 

  If there's anything else that I can help, please let me know.
