Desktop search on Mac returns useless results

When I search via the Spotlight-style UI on my Mac with very specific terms, I get a long list of docs and folders that only partially match, but not the file that matches exactly.

I just started using Box on this company account and I only have a handful of files, but Box is returning a long list of other people's files. That's fine, but why can't I see my file that matches my search terms.

In case it's relevant, the file I'm searching for is a Google Slide deck that I added to Box via the Google Workspace add-on. I can see it on the web UI and in the Box network drive on my local machine, but the search ignores it.

Related: It sure would be nice if I could set some parameters on what the Box search input returned.
