Storage limit reset
CompletedCan you reset my Storage. I deleted files but still show 100GB out of 100GB used . The last time this happened, support had to run a script to correct problem.

I've ran the script that will recount all of the files/ folders in your account, so you should now see the correct data and storage size in your Box.

Thank You. Is there any way that I can run the script myself? This happens every time I get up to my limit. Deleting files on my end doesn't free up space until the script is run. I have been dealing with this issue for close to 10 years but it is very difficult now that Box doesn't have direct tech support. Am I the only one this happens to?

The script is currently only accessible to our Support people, and not to end users.
If this is something you would like to be able to do, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

Hi, I have the same problem. I can't find a support email, only this "Community" Support. For this problem. The Community support is obviously useless because, as you said "The script is currently only accessible to our Support people, and not to end users."
Could you run the script also on my account please?

The issue you encounter is described in this article and is a known issue, and yes, the script to correct this is currently only accessible to Box Support at present.
If this is something you would like to have access to, I would highly recommend submitting this feature request at pulse.box.com! Our product managers review these requests and take them into consideration for future product development.

- I am having the same issue and need immediate help on this.
My account says I am "out of free space" even though you know I am not. I have tried deleting things, but the storage space in not reclaimed. I need this fixed quickly as I have to upload something this morning and it will not let me as it says I am out of storage. Thank you.
