    I have this problem too. Box support has a script they can run on the account that reclaims all free space and counts the files/space properly. I wish they would just automatically run this every month or something. We are continually running out of space even though we are not running out of space. Very annoying. And now it seems there is no way to contact support except on this forum. No chat. No phone support. No email support.

    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    I've ran the script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account, you should now see the correct storage size available in your Box. Sometimes Box caches previous file counts and storage amounts causing a data inconsistency. This is a known issue and is a long term project for our engineering team to tackle.

    Thank you.

    You guys really need to dedicate some resources to fixing this. It's been an ongoing issue for literally years. I'm actively shopping other cloud services because of this issue.
