    Hi Debbie,

Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

Have you checked this article on managing your contents with Box for IOS? https://support.box.com/hc/en-us/articles/360044195633-Manage-Your-Content-with-Box-for-iOS

To add files from your iOS device to Box:

    • Open the Box iOS app
    • Navigate to the folder to which you'd like to add your files. If you'd like to create a new folder or add files to the root level of your account, remain on the All Files screen.
    • Tap the + icon in the top-right corner.

Choose how you'd like to add files:

    • Create New Folder: Create a new folder within the folder you're currently viewing
    • Take Photo or Video: Use your device's camera to take a photo or video and upload it directly to Box
    • Choose from Library: Upload a photo or video from your device's media library. Selecting this option opens your media library within the Box app. You may have to grant Box permission to access your media library.
    • Create New Box Note: Create a new Box Note in the folder you are viewing.
    • Scan Document: Take a photo of a document, convert it to the PDF format and add to Box.

Hope it helps! Let us know if you have other questions, and we will help you.

    All the best,

I appreciate your help but I have a file in BOX and when I clicked on the icon you mentioned (at the bottom right), I saw where I could choose photos directly from my phone. I selected them all but there was no way to put them in the file I created. It only lets me select them to download and it is taking forever. It is extremely slow. How do I select them and put them in the folder I created? It did not give me that option. Also I thought it would be pretty quick but it is taking a very long time for each photo to download. Can I click on all of them once they are all downloaded to transfer them into a folder? Also, is there a way to put each individual folder from our trip (once I figure out how to put them into a folder) into one big folder to name the state we toured?

After waiting for over an hour for about 70 photos to upload, I just looked at my pictures on BOX and every single one of them says Uploading unsuccessful. I am very disappointed. I paid to get BOX because it is supposed to be a quick and easy way to transfer photos from my phone into BOX but I have had no luck! Is there someone I can speak to? This is ridiculous.

Well, they finally downloaded after several hours. Is that normal? Do we always have to send to the Box app and then move the pictures into the file directly from Box rather than being able to move them from the phone into the file?

I can't even choose Box as an option as a place to save photos to. Dropbox worked for me for many months and inexplicably stopped working today so I tried to rely on Box and cannot choose it from my iPhone. It's like it doesn't exist on my phone even though I have the app.

Hello - I am having this same problem. I need the Box Icon to show up as an export option (next to messages, mail, dropbox, etc). I do NOT want to use the box app because it takes the files in .HEIC which is compatible with everything. I want to be able to select the images in photos and hit the share button and then hit the box button. Thanks for your help.
