    Welcome to the Box Community, I'm happy to help!

    The issue you encounter seems related to what is described in this article:

    I've ran the script that will recount all of the files and how much storage is being used in your account, so you should now see the correct storage size available in your Box.

    France & Box Team - I have the same issue. Trying to sync an 8.0 GB folder from my MacBook air, and it does not sync files, saying I'm out of storage...even though this is under my storage limit. 

    Anything you can do to help?
