Folder says 99 files inside but is empty when open

I was moving files around into different folders, and it appears that 99 files disappeared.  The folder says it has 99 files but there is nothing inside when I open it.  The missing files are not showing up in Trash either.

  IAre you the owner or deleter of this content? When a file is deleted, both the person who deleted the item and the owner of the item will be able to retrieve it from their trash. The Trash is located under Bin-- you can also review this article for more details on this process:
