Box doesn't preview or play mp4 video intermittently

My mp4 video can be played directly in Chrome or a local Mac.  But when it's uploaded in box, it can neither be previewed from the box driver, nor played by clicking the mp4 file from the file link in box.com (Chrome) with the blue play button kept cycling forever.  On very few occasions, the video did play, but not most of the times.
