sending inviatation to external user and getting cannot invitate deactived users to collaborat

    Welcome to Box Community and glad to assist!

    In order to collaborate with someone through Box, please make sure that you're inviting a user with an active Box account. Looks like your invitee's email  has deactivated the account. 

    You can advice him/her to contact Box Product Support so we could help him/her identify what his/her options are.
