Collaboration vs. Share link
From my understanding, collaboration invites are a great way to contents for long term projects, but if I want someone upload a document just one time (after which I will never interact with that person), do I still need to invite that person for collaboration? It seems too much of a trouble for that person to accept the collaboration invitation, create a box account, confirm the email address just to upload one page. Is there a way to skip all these steps and have someone upload a document just one time. I have sent "Share link" in the past, but the other person wasn't able to upload into the link. Any solutions to this?

Welcome to the Box Community!
You may use Box's "File Request" feature if you need to collect documents or files from other people. Others won't need to login to Box or create one to use this feature, you just have to send them the File request link, and when they click the link, they will see an upload button for the folder you created the request link for.
