    I ran a script to fix the file size count in your used storage and should be seeing the right file size count.
    You can check this by going to your Box console> Account Settings>Account> Account Details> Storage ( used/total).
    You can also check this article from our Box Support page about "Storage".
    Box Support is able to run a script for specific end-users’ accounts to fix the data inaccuracy issues around user storage size, folder size, and file counts. Please note that while the issue may be fixed, we are unable to guarantee that the account will not be affected by the issue again - particularly for users with massive amounts of content.

    I am having this problem also, but I am not finding a way to contact Box support. No chat. No telephone. How do I get someone to run this script for me, to reclaim space?

    Please I have the same problem. Indeed, my free space are  not reclaimed when files are deleted. from recycled bin. How an I recover my free space?
    I have read that the support can run a script to resolve this issue. How can I request that from support.

    Same issue, deleted all files and emptied the trash, 12 hours later my box is still shown as being nearly full.

    you have to contact box customer support for them to free the space.  I don't know why this is - but they did it pretty fast.

    I am having this problem once again. Deleted loads of files but Box still says I have no free space. AJ can you help us out by running that script please?

    7 days later and this is still unresolved. To repeat: we have deleted a lot of large files, but our space is still showing as full and we cannot upload new files. What do we need to do to get this resolved?
