We added the ability to configure auto enrollment for net new user sign-ups as a self-service setting directly within Admin Console. When auto enrollment is enabled for a verified domain, a new user who signs up with an email with the verified domain is automatically enrolled into the domain as a managed user.
This functionality enables enterprise admins to have more granular control over users with company email domains, including:

Automatically converting new users, who have been invited to collaborate on managed content, to managed users.

Preventing users from creating unmanaged Box accounts using a company email address.
