Box for Salesforce v4.0 Release Notes (Apr 2023)

We have released a new version of Box for Salesforce (v4.0), available for download at the Salesforce AppExchange. Included in the release are:

  • Box UI Elements as Lightning Web Components

  • Box Folder Partitioning Flow Template - automatically divide’s your integration’s Account subfolder structure alphabetically

  • Button to “Delete All Box Settings Data from Sandbox” added to Lightning Install Wizard

  • Updated API versioning for Apex classes to fit Salesforce release recommendations

  • Addressed performance issue by reducing number of callouts

  • Fixed assorted translation issues

  • Fixed issue with pre-fill tags when sending documents for e-signature

  • Fixed “Invalid Integer” error when creating records

  • Fixed assorted minor issues

Note: Box recently released enhancements to its public collaboration APIs, which will break older versions of the integration (v3.54 and lower). Therefore we strongly recommend:

  • For all customers using Professional Edition, upgrade to v3.56.

  • For all other customers, upgrade to the latest version of Box for Salesforce, as older versions are no longer supported.
